Tropical Fruit World is one of the fine tourist destinations in the Gold Coast region. It is just 10 minutes drive away from the Gold Coast airport. As the name says, Tropical Fruit World is home to plenty of tropical fruit plantations and many rare fruits. The park is said to contain more than 500 varieties of tropical fruits. History

In 1972, Bob and Val Brinsmead bought a place that has beautiful sceneries and fertile agricultural land. The Brinsmeads favored this place as it has the potential to grow Avocado fruits. They also planted other fruits like lychees, guavas, macadamias, mangoes and custard apples. From being a farm house, Tropical Fruit World developed into a full fledged family entertainment spot.

Attractions

Being an agri-tourist destination, Tropical Fruit World has some rare fruit species like Lemonade fruit, Chocolate Pudding fruit, Champagne fruit and Dragon Fruit etc. The park also features other attractions including golf course, Fauna Park, children’s play area and Flying Fox. Miracle fruits show in Tropical Fruit World offers a fine tasting experience for visitors who want to taste the fresh season fruits. The park also features a miniature train ride through which visitors can enjoy the sceneries. Tropical Fruit World also enables visitors to walk through the fruit orchards and experience the serene beauty of nature.

Visitors can also enjoy the Plantation Safari, which is a tractor train safari into plantation forests. Plantation Safari offers a close experience with some of the rare tropical fruit trees in the world. Treasure Island is another attraction which offers various entertainment options to whole family. The park also offers a fine experience in the water through the ‘Jungle River Cruise’ in which visitors can enjoy the tranquil beauty of the plantation through a cruise ride.
