Broadbeach Blues is a music festival that is conducted every year in the coastal region of Broadbeach. The “Blues” music festival brings more color to the exuberant nature of Gold Coast City. The event remains as a high profile event attracting tourists from all over the world. Gold Coast being a city of major tourist attractions, Broadbeach caters the needs of tourists with plenty of shopping attractions, theme parks and other leisure locations. Besides all other entertainment, Broadbeach Blues remains as a unique event that attracts a large number of audiences.
The event, which was started in 2002, has attracted more than 250,000 visitors till now. Blues on Broadbeach is an iconic music festival that attracts audiences of different ages and from various cultural backgrounds. Broadbeach Blues was initiated by Broadbeach Alliance, a team engaged in managing various world class events for Broadbeach. Broadbeach alliance is also responsible for managing the upcoming Blues event with the help of residents living in Broadbeach area.
Blues on Broadbeach 2008
Blues on Broadbeach event, which was held in 2008, was a huge success with a good recognition from the crowd. Besides providing a fine nurture for Australian Blues talent, the event also served as an international stage for the performers. The 2008 Blues on Broadbeach event was conducted amidst tough weather conditions, which threatened to ruin the show. Plenty of renowned artists performed at this music festival and made it a grand success.
Upcoming Event
The upcoming Blues event, the eighth Blues on Broadbeach festival, is scheduled to take place from 28 May, 2009 to 31 May, 2009. Broadbeach Alliance team is currently working on the event preparation to make it a huge success than the prior one. The event, which is planned by seven members of the Broadbeach Alliance, is expected to provide an exciting entertainment for the people. Artists performing in this festival will display a fine talent on different venues throughout the Broadbeach area. The upcoming event is sponsored by various sponsors including Gold Coast City Council, NBN, Hot Tomato FM, and Very Gold Coast etc.
