WARNING TO MOTORISTS!

My Friend Jamie wentto Zupps at Buleigh Heads for car servicing. Got a quote to 40,000km service his Sukuki Swift which included brakes. He was quoted about $500 when he got there ended up with a bill for $800.

Jamie said that he wants to warn everyone that requires car servicing not to go to Zupps at Burleigh Heads because they may also have a car that requires servicing and he doesn’t want them to be ripped off.

He went on to say “What happens if you only have enough money to pay the amount they quoted? Then under their legal rights of lien, they keep the car until you do pay! They can legally keep your car until they come up with the money that they have overquoted.  Something must be done these sort of operators that overcharge and have the right to keep your car. It is unconscionable, unreasonable and unforgiving to me.”
