Glenzeil Gold Coast Building Company are copping heat from resident, Paul Klerck of Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast Australia. Mr Klerck says that Glenzeil has a total lack of care and demostrates no responsibility for the issues that the Varsity Lakes residents are suffering.

Mr Klerck ows a property opposite Glenzeil building site at Varsity Lakes. Mr Klerck says that his wife’s brand new car was scratched by a crane vehicle that was contracted by Glenzeil. He then phoned the crane company, Glenzeil Builders and Delfin to complain about the damage caused. Mr Klerck said that his complaints fell on deaf ears. Paul was then left to foot the bill out of his own pocket.

On Friday 25th September, Mr Klerck said he saw saw another work vehicle, this time a concrete pumping truck stopped out the front of his residence. He looked over his fence to see what they were doing and saw that the truck was “in a bit of a jam” he then told the workers not to move the truck and told them he would move his car so it was not damages. The workers said “it’ll be OK mate!” and proceeded with a lack of concern. When Mr Klerck went to check on his car he saw that they had scratched the back of his Holden HSV GTS that he purchased for around $90,000.

Mr Klerck said that he was furious this time that the drivers of the concrete truck must have known that they did it. “Why else would one of the workers be outside the truck looking at his car” said Mr Klerck. By the time Mr Klerck was out the front,  the truck was gone.

Mr Klerck says that he has had enough as he has been left with a bill of $2,364 from Glenzeil’s and their agent’s damages to his property.

Paul also says that he has an issue with the workers on the site constantly using foul and vulgar language regularly. This is another concern because as Mr Klerck states “This is a place of residence. There are the elderly, mothers, children who should not be subjected to this crude language… not in Varsity Lakes. I wonder how Glenzeil would react if a group of people came into their neighbourhood and constantly used loud profanities at a level that can be heard by their wifes, grandmothers, sons and daughters.”
